Festival season' is upon us, June 10th opens with the Isle of Wight Festival which welcomes three of the biggest bands to grace the main stage, Friday will see the headline act 'Kings of Leon' take to the stage, with first support for the Nashville band will be the 'Kaiser Chiefs' which I know will be a great show, I have been lucky to see the 'Kasier Chiefs' perform back in 2005/6 which was an awesome gigs and wouldn't expect anything else this year. Other acts on the main stage Friday will be; The Courtneeners, We are Scientists & Big Country. Saturday night I feel will be a 'spectacular' show seeing the awesome 'Foo Fighters' take to the stage, I have to say what you see is what you get, pure 100% performance adrenalin rush, very exciting !! main support to the 'Foo Fighters' will be 'Pulp' will be great to see Jarvis strut his stuff on the stage never seen 'Pulp' perform, so will be looking forward to this set. Other acts on the main stage for Saturday night; Igy and the Stooges, Seasick Steve, Mike and the Mechanics plus many more !! Sunday night is the climax to the festival, always expecting something from the back pocket which surprises all, but with 'Kings of Leon & Foo Fighters, the whole festival is placed around 'Rock' this year so the only choice was the mighty 'Kasabian' to close this year Isle of Wight Festival, main support for the boys will be Liam Gallagher NEW band 'Beady Eye', after seeing the fall of 'Oasis' this should be a very interesting set, watched 'Beady Eye' perform on 'Jools Holland' few weeks ago, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised, so should be a good show and a great end to the festival.
