Gary Barlow takes Craig Colton & Marcus Collins to Children in Need charity gala

Gary Barlow takes Craig Colton & Marcus Collins to Children in Need charity gala

While the other X Factor contestants were lapping up the attention at the ''Twilight Premiere in London, Gary Barlow’s boys Craig and Marcus plodded along to the Children in Need Rocks charity gala in Manchester with their mentor, who hosted the event. Kelly Rowland also joined the boys for the ride while other celebrity guests included the likes of Jamie Cullum, Coleen Rooney, Olly Murs and Chris Moyles. The actual concert for the event will take place in Manchester this evening. Cheryl Cole was supposed to be performing at it alongside Gary Barlow but had to pull out due to illness.

Gary Barlow may not return to the X Factor.

As the stand-in judge for Simon Cowell, Gary Barlow has proved hugely popular with viewers on the X Factor. The Take That star has hinted however that he might not return for the next series of the show. Speaking at last night’s Children in Need Rocks gig in Manchester Gary said: “I’m taking some time off next year to remind myself who my children are and what their names are.” “It’s been nice to concentrate on something other than X Factor. We’re in a bubble down there. It’s been good to leave London. We get tied up with our own importance.” Gary doesn’t strike us as the kind of man who enjoys drama, and this series of X Factor has been so heavily PR’d we’re not surprised he feels like throwing in the towel altogether, are you?
